One of our standout initiatives is the partnership Gift a Tree, wherein we pledge to plant a tree for every shift worked during the festival season. This not only serves as a symbolic gesture but has a direct positive impact on carbon sequestration. To date, 8,936 have been planted.

A major milestone in our sustainability journey has been the reduction of single-use plastics, by encouraging staff to bring their own reusable bottles or providing them. This not only reduces the immediate environmental impact but also sends a powerful message about the feasibility and desirability of plastic-free events.
Recognising the environmental impact of staff transportation, we take a proactive approach by prioritising local staff within a 25-mile radius. Additionally, our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the choice of vehicles used, all of which comply with Euro 6 standards, ensuring reduced emissions and optimal fuel efficiency.
Addressing the environmental cost of paper usage, Compact has significantly reduced its paper consumption by implementing stringent paper use policies and opting for recycled paper, along with adopting digital reports and paperwork. This has resulted in a reduction in our ecological footprint and also a positive shift toward more sustainable event documentation practices.
